About the event

Tanya Cicerale is a sideliner beekeeper and co-owner of Lees Bees NJ along with her husband, Michael. She is a retired middle school teacher and mother of 3. Tanya became a beekeeper in 2016 and purchased Lees Bees NJ from a friend in 2019. Tanya has multiple certifications from The Handcrafted Soap and Cosmetics Guild. She started beekeeping in hopes of improving her seasonal allergies and  to naturally improve her overall health. Tanya is currently enrolled in an Apitherapy course and is also studying to become a master beekeeper through the University of Florida.

Salve Demo Introduction:

This presentation will focus on the two main types of beeswax salves and how to create them. In this talk, I will show you how to effectively infuse oils with herbs and how to safely utilize essential oils into your salves. We will focus on product formulation, safety, and use.
