About the event
Tanya Cicerale is a sideliner beekeeper and co-owner of Lees Bees NJ along with her husband, Michael. She is a retired middle school teacher and mother of 3. Tanya became a beekeeper in 2016 and purchased Lees Bees NJ from a friend in 2019. Tanya has multiple certifications from The Handcrafted Soap and Cosmetics Guild. She started beekeeping in hopes of improving her seasonal allergies and to naturally improve her overall health. Tanya is currently enrolled in an Apitherapy course and is also studying to become a master beekeeper through the University of Florida.
Candle Making Introduction:
This presentation will focus on the making of candles using beeswax. Tanya will share her expertise on this process with participants so they will have the skills to make their own. You can read up on Tanya and Lee's Bees on their website.
